LASER FRYDAYS: Laser Cutter Training

🔥 Every Friday at 2:00pm, unlock the power of our 130W Monport laser cutter (1300×900mm) at Frontier Makerspace, Floor 7 of Frontier Tower. This hands-on workshop will train you to confidently design, cut, and engrave with one of the most versatile tools in modern fabrication.
Whether you’re prototyping hardware, etching vibe coding patterns, customizing textiles, or exploring new materials, this session will give you the skills to bring your ideas to life.
You’ll learn:

• Safe and effective operation of the 130W Monport laser cutter
• Best practices for preparing and setting up design files
• Material compatibility and fine-tuning cutting/engraving settings
• Techniques for precision cutting, engraving, and creative etching

No prior experience required — just bring your curiosity (and some designs if you have them). By the end, you’ll be fully certified to use the Frontier Makerspace laser cutters for your own projects.
