See all- How to Microdose & Journey (by yourself) Training for Age 30 and up410 9th St, Golden, CO$100.00
*Please read this description in full before registering. Age limit: 30 and above (ID's will be checked). If the event is full, please join the waitlist to help the organizer gauge interest for future events.
Would you like to learn how to microdose psilocybin responsibly, safely and effectively? Would you like to have a full psychedelic journey safely and comfortably in your own home, without paying thousands of dollars?
This is a small-group training, limited to 4 participants. During this 2-hour presentation in Golden, you will be able to ask the questions you've always wondered about, receive preparatory training, and leave with the confidence and materials to both start a microdosing protocol and/or have a psychedelic journey by yourself or with a friend-as-sitter.
Journeying in a clinical setting or with a shaman is either not preferred or too expensive for many people, as is hiring other types of professional sitters. This program will teach you the other option, to take fully responsibility for safely building your experience and confidence over time by yourself or with a friend.
By registering for this program, you are paying for harm-reduction education and training. Any other resources or material you receive in this training will be gifted. Gifted material will NOT be consumed during this meeting. To help you decide whether you should even use psilocybin, please review the contraindications below:
· High blood pressure/heart issues
· Pregnancy or breastfeeding
· Suicidal ideation or previously attempted suicide
· Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dissociative conditions, or a history of experiencing psychotic breaks
· Strong fear about taking psilocybin, difficulty letting go, or a potential to react violently while under stress
· Taking Lithium, tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline (Elavil), Haloperidol, SSRIs such as fluoxetine (Prozac), paroxetine (Paxil), sertlaine (Zoloft), trazodone (Desyrel), MAOIs such as linezolid (Zyvox), rasagiline (Azilect), or St. John's Wort.
· Mushroom allergy
All participants will be handed a liability waiver at the start of the training and will be required to sign it before the meeting begins. Recording of any type is not permitted (for participant confidentiality). Participants must be at least 30 years old to attend, and ID's will be checked. The reason for the age restriction is to reduce the possibility of harm to young brains still in development. If you are not at last 30, you will be asked to leave and automatically forfeit any refund.
Sean McNamara, MA, LPCC is a mental health counselor at Golden Mean Counseling, and the author of Blue Thumb: How to Grow Psilocybin Mushrooms at Home (second edition).
