Hike on Juniper Creek Trail

Hike from the parking area on the north side of Deaton Bridge Rd to J-7 and return - approximately 8 miles round-trip. Pace is moderate. Dress appropriately for hiking in the woods and the weather. Bring plenty of water and snacks. Sunscreen and insect repellent are also recommended. Please note that this hike includes crossing wooden boardwalks and bridges that can be slippery if wet. This hike starts and ends in Blackwater River State Park which charges a $4 parking fee.
