Now that hockey is done......... Can we talk about Fuckup Nights now?

We apologize for the lack of speaker announcements, we have had trouble securing speakers who can commit to the timeline. I am proud to announce that our June 26 event is still happening.

Our speakers are:
Daniel Mitchell from Alt- Tech

Daniel Mitchell has transformed Alt-Tech from a passion-driven start-up to
a highly-regarded IT and cyber security business with 25 team members. His passion for technology was ignited when he became a civilian member of the RCMP in 2001. Alt-Tech builds infrastructure that moves business forward.
In the last decade, the demand for Alt-Tech’s services has allowed Daniel to move into a mentorship and guidance position for his team of over a dozen tech and business
experts. He also speaks at local security seminars to teach business owners how to protect
themselves.

Hope Walls & Billie Lang from Rare Earth Photographic Arts Outreach Foundation.

Hope and Billie thought it would be fun to start an online elimination style photography competition during the pandemic, with $0. What started off as a joke grew into so much more. After two seasons of The Shooting Range they decided to start a not for profit foundation that focused on Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity in the photographic arts.
They are currently gearing up for season three of the competition as well as rolling out workshops and programs in some test schools in the Edmonton and area. They are excited for the possibilities that the future holds for the foundation.
