Board Game Day at Guild of Blades

Important Notice: Our long-time host location, Gatekeeper Games, has closed. We have not settled on a permanent new location, so please check each month's event page to find out where we are meeting.

June Location: We will be gaming at the Guild of Blades (GoB) game store in Clawson MI. GoB has a large game room and a good supply of demo games. GoB does not allow outside food to be brought in, but they do have snacks for purchase. To find us, enter the store from the East door, then turn right to enter the game room. We will have Full Spectrum signs on our tables.

Hey there! We love to play board games and try something new. We find it easier to socialize within the framework of a game. Anyone can join! We often team up when we aren’t familiar with the rules. We play many different kinds of games. There is no addenda, come and go as you please.

There is always an option to watch how it works from the side-lines or play something else at a different table. You can bring your own game or play one of the many available to borrow at this retail store.

Our event format has drifted more towards a peer support meeting as time as progressed. We start out just talking and play games when get tired of it. Our goal is to build community and foster independence. Friends and supports are welcome it this autism-first, autism-safe meeting.
