Join us for a discussion group to learn about the lived experience of autism.

This will be an opportunity for all of our members - neurotypical and neurodivergent - to learn more about autism, not from the medical perspective, but how it impacts our everyday lives. It is an opportunity for those with lived experience of autism help others understand you better.

Our event will provide a safe space for people to ask questions and discuss how we experience autism. Like all Full Spectrum Agency events, everyone is invited to participate in a way that works for them. For some, that may include interacting verbally, for some it will be in the chat, and others yet may choose to listen and learn from others. You can do any of these or a combination. We want everyone to be comfortable.

Feel free to share your thoughts or questions with me in advance. You can absolutely share additional comments and questions during the event.

For those with lived experience of autism (diagnosed or not), please feel free to share any talking points you want me to have prepared for the discussion. Your prompt is...

"What do you most want neurotypicals to understand about your lived experience of autism?"

For everyone, if you have any questions about autism that you want me to incorporate into our discussion, feel free to send me that info ahead of the meetup. Your prompt is...

"What do you most want to know about the lived experience of autism?"

You can contact me through meetup or at katie@FullSpectrumASD.org.
