Join the Fullerton Hiking Club on Saturday 6/15, at 9 am PST, for a 5.41 mile hike at the Fullerton Loop Trail. The hike will meet at the Jaunita Cooke trailhead outside of the North Justice Center and across the street from Ralphs (address below). Please arrive by 8:55 am at the latest so that we can get started on time for our trek!
The group will meet at the trailhead, and hike down the Jaunita Cooke Trail until we reach Laguna Lake. Once we reach the lake, we will do a loop around it (roughly 0.70 miles), and return back on the same trail we came in on. Please bring anything you might need on the trail including walking/hiking shoes, water, bug spray, a hat, snacks, sunscreen, etc.
Expect a flat trail surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature! This hike is perfect for beginner-intermediate level hikers looking to hike 5+ miles on a flat trail. The hiking pace of this group is between 2.5-3 miles per hour. If you have any questions, let me know, I'm looking forward to the hike!
Parking is free in the lot. Pets are welcome on leash. There are bathrooms that we will stop at once we reach the lake.
Pets: Dogs welcome on leash
