Metaphilosophy: Philosophical Experts (Online)

In 2016, a first time actress, Yalitza Aparicio was casted as the protagonist of Alfonso Cuaron's Roma. Instead of learning how to act in a traditional way, Cuaron instructed Yalitza to tell the story in a unique and natural way.

The philosopher, David Egan compares training an actress to philosophical training. According to him, training someone to play the violin is similar to instructing someone to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These disciplines are divided and the STEM disciplines are labled as "hard" and the humanities as "soft".
