A lot of people see hypocrisy as a moral failing. This week, we'll take a look at three trypes of hypocrisy and see what's morally troubling about them.

The philosopher Emrys Westacott argues people hate the underlying behavior of hypocrisy and not the inconsistency of word and deed. He points out that hypocrisy is often unavoidable in ordinary life and can sometimes even serve compassionate or practical purposes.
