It's the beginning of a new year, and a new beginning for Madison PHP - we have a new name! PHP developers are responsible for so many things day-to-day that most of us are actually full stack developers. Over the last few years, Madison PHP has been changing to reflect that, but we feel it is time to make it our full focus. Madison PHP will still be the same awesome group of people, but now we will be called Full Stack Madison to better reflect our focus on everything that devs deal with. We will still be very focused on open source technologies and will still be delivering awesome PHP content. Our name will just now include all of the other fantastic content we have been providing as well.
So, let's get together and celebrate! Families, SO's, etc. are all invited. Please include them when you RSVP (you can add additional guests when you RSVP) so we have enough food for everyone. We'll be in the side room of Alt Brew just like we were last year. Alt Brew is across the parking lot from the building where we normally meet on the Madison College campus. We will be providing snacks. Drinks are buy-your-own. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available from Alt Brew. (Alt Brew specializes in gluten-free beer and gluten-free food and has several guest beers on tap as well.)
