This talk is oriented to those developers who are doing regular Scala and want to put another level of abstraction to their programs and express generic behaviors by writing their own type classes (we'll avoid confusing names to describe simple concepts, I promise).

Rafa Paradela is a Principal Engineer at 47 Degrees. He’s passionate about Functional Programming and is a creator and maintainer of some of the most popular Open-Source libraries made by the company. Aside from open source, he’s an experienced Scala consultant and an instructor of several training courses at the 47 Academy.
