► TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK (HALF DAY GAME DRIVE): Tarangire is one of Africa's little-known gems and a must visit, while visiting Tanzania. Tarangire is home to Tanzania's largest population of African elephants. With four of the Big Five residing here, it will be an exciting day of game viewing! As other sources of water dry up, the Tarangire River becomes the sole source of water in this region, attracting huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and hartebeests as well as lions, leopards and other predators who prey upon them.
