It's Cooler in Camarillo! Temps in mid-70's. Urban Walk, 7 miles/700'

We were going to hike inland today, but with forecast above 90's (http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Agoura&state=CA&site=LOX&textField1=34.1431&textField2=-118.737&e=1) , it's a "no can do."

Camarillo is always cooler, and forecast is cool--mid 70's. So we can party the night before, sleep late, start later and still finish before lunch. Woohoo!

Pitts Ranch Park,

Calle Brisa, Camarillo

Meeting Place in Camarillo: From Flynn Road, turn east on Calle Brisa, then first driveway on right to enter Pitts Ranch Park. Free parking in lot or on street.

Time: Arrive earlier and be ready to leave promptly at 10:00AM. If you're lacing up your boots at 10:00AM, we'll be gone. You should plan to be there 10-15 minutes earlier

Estimated Stats: 7 miles/700' gain.

What's on the trail? We usually spot rabbits, squirrels, frogs, red-tailed hawks, and wildflowers in the natural areas. Less than 2 miles will be on quiet residential streets. We'll have a break with restrooms about half-way through walk.
Level: Intermediate. We'll stop for photos, vistas, and for participants to catch up. With breaks, this hike normally takes about 2.5 hours.
Bring: Water, snack for yourself.
Wear: Lug soles/hiking shoes are best because of 2 shor steep/slippery sections, but tennis shoes will be fine.

Dogs: Leashed dogs welcome. Please clean up after your dog.

FYI: There are restrooms where we meet, and at about 3-4 miles into our walk.
