About Us: The Fun Live Music Events in Orange County Meetup group is for everyone who loves live music events. Our events celebrate a wide range of music genres, including the 70s, 80s, and 90s, Pop, Jazz, R&B, Funk, Country, New Jack Swing, Soul, Gospel, Christian, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Classic Rock, Latin, Salsa, and more. Whether you're reconnecting with familiar faces or meeting new people, our events provide a welcoming environment to build friendships and enjoy great music together.
We host music events at a variety of venues, including restaurants, park concerts, pubs, coffeehouses, event centers, festivals, and other local entertainment destinations. Join us for fun, music, socializing, and memorable experiences throughout the year.
Group Privacy: Our group is a private Meetup group. Events and your membership are hidden from public view and non-members. Only members of this group are able to view our Meetup group’s full contents, events and members.
GROUP MEMBERSHIP RULES, POLICIES & DISCLAIMER
All members are required to comply with these Group Membership Rules, Policies, and Disclaimer. These guidelines are designed to promote the safety, security, and well-being of all members and attendees. They also help maintain the integrity of the group by clearly communicating expectations and ensuring accountability for everyone.
1. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP: At this time, there is no membership fee to join this group. However, there are ongoing costs associated with operating the group, including Meetup fees, time to curate events, venue reservations, printed and digital flyers, promotion, and organizer time. Your membership provides access to fun, safe, and engaging events featuring entertainment, adventure, dining, music, and opportunities to build lasting friendships. Voluntary donations are greatly appreciated and help offset these expenses. Contributions can be made through:

2. PROFILE PHOTOS & NAMES: To help us identify all members, your profile must include a current, clear, unobstructed photo of yourself. Profile photos may NOT include:
• Sunglasses, hats, face coverings, or scarves that obscure your face
• Group photos
• Photos of animals, nature, or other non-person images
• Blurry or low-quality photos
• Shirtless, provocative, or suggestive photos
Your profile name must be your real first name only. Do not use titles, nicknames, initials, abbreviations, symbols, numbers, or other characters.
3. LOCATION POLICY: This group is based in Orange County, Southern California. Requests for Membership from individuals outside a 20-mile radius, outside California, or outside the United States will be declined.
4. BEHAVIOR POLICY: All members are expected to be respectful, courteous, considerate, sober, and conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Gossip, arguments, and discussions likely to create conflict are prohibited. This includes negative or argumentative discussions about politics, wars, race, religion, other people, other Meetup groups, or any other divisive topics. Profanity, obscene language, and offensive remarks are not permitted. Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. This includes unwanted touching, leering, suggestive comments, sexually explicit language, or any other unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature. Stalking is strictly prohibited. Attending events for the purpose of following, monitoring, or harassing another member is grounds for immediate removal. Unsolicited Meetup messages are prohibited. Unless you already know another member personally, do not contact them through Meetup messaging without their consent. Please report any violations to the event host. Violators may be removed from the group and reported to Meetup. Any criminal activity will be reported to law enforcement.
5. MEMBER PARTICIPATION: To help keep our group active, fun, engaging, and welcoming, members are encouraged to attend at least one event each month. Members who do not participate in any group activities for more than two consecutive months may be removed from the group due to inactivity.
6. RSVP's: All attendees must RSVP and appear on the “Going” list to attend. If you can no longer attend, please update your RSVP to “Not Going” as soon as possible. You may also notify the Host by text or Meetup message. Members who accumulate more than one No-Show may be removed from the group or restricted from attending future events. More than one last-minute cancellation (within 2 hours of the event start time) will be treated the same as a No-Show. Please add this event to your personal calendar to avoid forgetting. Events are scheduled with multiple Meetup groups. Please do not ask how many people are attending, who is attending, or why attendance limits are in place.
7. NOTIFICATIONS AND CONFIRMATIONS: All attendees who RSVP for this event must keep Meetup notifications enabled for this group and check their email and Meetup Messages regularly for event updates and confirmation requests. Confirmation requests may be sent so the Host can provide an accurate headcount to the restaurant or venue and ensure adequate seating for everyone. If you do not respond to a confirmation request by the specified deadline, your RSVP may be changed to "Not Going." You are still welcome to attend the venue on your own, but you will not be included in the group's reservation or seated with the group.
8. DISCLAIMER: By joining this group, you acknowledge and agree that participation in all activities is voluntary and at your own risk. The organizers, hosts, and members are not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, damage, harassment, or other harm involving you, your family, guests, children, pets, vehicle, or personal property arising from participation in any group activity. While we care about the well-being of our members and will offer assistance when appropriate, each participant is responsible for their own safety and decisions. Members are also responsible for using the Meetup website and app. Organizers, hosts, and attendees do not provide Meetup training or technical support. Group membership is voluntary and may be terminated at any time by either the member or the organizers. Photos may be taken during events and shared on Meetup, social media, or other promotional materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the organizer and avoid participating in group photos.
