Camping/Hotel/Paddle weekend

Please. NO PETS. We will use Paddle Brave Camp and Canoe Livery for an exciting paddle down the Au Sable River in the Grayling area. You have your choice of accommodations. You can camp with the group at the livery/campground or arrange your own lodging.

The best part of our fun is community meals (Pot Luck). As a guide, we’ve prepared a spreadsheet where you can signup for what you’d like to bring. Please peruse the spreadsheet and contribute an item or two.

For Friday night gathering, and Saturday Apres-Paddle (this means dinner if you aren't French), we will gather in the campground for a fire, food, and libations. If the weather is inclement, we could use the someone's hotel pool for gathering. Will be looking for suggestions

1. We have enough space for 10 campers and they will be sold on 1st paid basis.
2. Campers, we will have potluck Breakfast Saturday and Sunday and Saturday Lunch for those who would like to participate.

The canoe schedule is:

1. Friday Night gathering at Paddlebrave for campfire. Bring snacks to pass if you wish.
   a) 11:00 Depart Paddlebrave for shuttle upstream
   b) Paddle back to campground and take a break. This is roughly a two hour paddle but we are not held to a time schedule.
2. Optional 1 hour paddle further downstream and shuttled back to campground.
3. Saturday night campfire at the campground.
4. Sunday Morning. Breakfast with leftovers. Pack for home or engage in alternative hiking, etc.

COSTS Camping: Costs are $60 for the weekend per site (two nights). This can be divided up by guests per site. We will be scheduling 2 per site for a per person cost of $30 for two nights. But whatever you work out with your sitemates will work. You can pay via paypal or venmo.
