SATURDAY HIKE at Stony Creek West Branch at NOON
Details
Weather permitting, join me for a Saturday hike at the Stony Creek West Branch/Shelden Trails. Meet by noon in the WB/Shelden Trails trailhead parking lot near the restroom building. Please refer to the directions and/or pin on the map to see our meeting place. We'll hike 5-6 miles, mostly on the outer trails. Hiking boots or trail shoes are recommended. Bring ice cleats, in case the trails are icy. Also, bring water and maybe a snack.
You will need a 2026 Metroparks Vehicle Permit for this park (available at the toll booth).
If interest, there will be a restaurant stop at Kerby's Koney Island(SE corner of 25 Mile and Dequindre) after our hike.
