We're playing soccer for fun and for exercise. Please be nice, considerate.

To join the WhatsApp group please message one of the organizers via meetup with your phone number (so we can avoid bots). We post last minute updates (if field is taken, we post field changes or time changes).

Game will start at 7:00 am sharp. Your RSVP only guarantees your spot at starting time, after that it is first come first serve.

GROUND RULES:

1. Be On Time (7:00) - If you’re not on time, and the game is full, you might not get to play.
2. RSVP - We need to see how many folks are coming. If you don’t RSVP, you may not get to play if the game is full.
3. Waitlist - If you’re on the Waitlist, you are not guaranteed a spot to play if you show up.
4. No-Shows - Please update your RSVP the day before the game if you’re not coming. Multiple No-Show is disrespectful to people who want to play and will be denied RSVPs in the future. We take attendance.
5. Turf shoes are recommended, and all levels of skill are welcome.
6. NO SLIDE TACKLES. This is a friendly pickup game. The main goal of this pickup game is to get some exercise & have fun without getting hurt.

HOW TO FIND US / GET TO THE FIELD
The field is located on the corner of Olive Ave and Wabash Ave, there's street parking on Olive Ave or on Wabash Ave. Even though the field is open to the public, the main gates on Olive Ave are often locked. You have 2 options to reach the field, you can either walk in through the dirt parking lot around the tennis courts (see red line on the map picture) or you can climb the revolving door on Olive Ave (circled in map picture and I'm also showing a picture)

THIS GAME IS VERY FULL. I don't want to turn people away, but you have been warned.

We play every Sunday at Cupertino High School football field.
(backup location is Creekside Park, Cupertino)

BRING TWO SHIRTS: one white, one color! (please no stripes, or grays)

Soccer cleats highly encouraged. No rough play. Shin guards recommended but not required.

There's a water fountain in case you don't bring a bottle.

No fees - it's free.

No RSVP required, this game has been going for years so turn out is good, depending on attendance it may split into 2 games, first arrivals have priority on 1st game

JD Morgan SOCCER general rules for all players:

Players with poor sportsmanship and repeated violation of game rules will not participate at JD Morgan game or may also be banned/benched by admins and organizers for a set number of games

WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED:
-Slide tackling
-Kicking and opposing player after the play is over
-Playing in a dangerous manner
-Violent behavior that has nothing to do with soccer
-Using offensive or abusive language
-Striking an opposing player(actually trying to punch someone)

By showing up to the game you agree to play by the rules and agree to comply with the penalties set by the admins and organizers when in violation the rules
