Mission Cliffs - Top-Rope Climbing Night!

Hey climbers!
Who's ready for another installment of indoor climbing at Mission Cliffs? 😁

Typically we all top rope, but are open to lead and mock-leading if
if there are enough people with their lead cert or looking to practice before taking the cert test (please coordinate so there is a rope).

When?
Thursdays @ 6:30pm
People often show up anywhere from 5-8. Always feel free to get started climbing. If you are looking for the group, dont hesitate to ask in chat :)

Also check the meetup group for trips to Pacific Pipe (Oakland) and Dogpatch, though these are usually less frequent.

What to Bring?
Climbing shoes, a harness, a belay device, water, etc.

Bonus if mock leading- bring your rope

Why?

• Have fun

Where do we meet?
Near the cubbies to the left of the front desk after you check in. Near the slackline, elipticals, and overhanging lead wall. If lost look for Alex in a bright/neon orange hoodie!

First time?/Cost/Belay Test

• First time at a touchstone gym? Sign a waiver - https://touchstoneclimbing.com/waiver/
• Belay test? Go to the front desk staff to take a test after you have had some basic practice OR

Costs:

• Touchstone Membership (works across Mission Cliffs, PacPipe, Dogpatch, and others) - free

• Day Pass for those that receive Medicare, medicare, SSi $10 - by showing the state id card

Midnight Snack?
While the Sunday group often gets lunch after, we don't usually get food after. If there is interest before or after, feel free to suggest a good late night eat!
