Details
> > > > > The third annual Chesapeake Mòd / Mòd Chesapeake is a day-long celebration of Scottish Gaelic language, song and poetry. The heart of the Mòd are song and poetry competitions, but there will also be classes in Scottish Gaelic and song workshops, including one lead by special guest Ryan Johnstone, gold medal winner of last year's Royal National Mòd in Scotland! Workshops will start at 10 am, followed by a picnic lunch from 12-1:30 pm. Competitions begin at 1:30 pm and run through 3 pm. At 3 pm, we will have a "waulking session" followed by an open song-sharing.
