SAVE THE DATE! | Road Trip to Murphy, NC!

Y'all! The more I research this town, the more excited I get about the trip there!

For now, here is an initial itinerary. Obviously, I'll fill in more blanks as the date gets closer. I just wanted to get this out to you asap, so you could block off the dates on your calendar and hopefully plan to participate. :)

9:30AM - 10AM:
Meet at Dog Gone Coffee, 8808 N Main Street, Helen 30545

Arrive/meet at and tour the Cherokee Historical Museum, 87 Peachtree Street, Murphy 28906 ($3 admission)

Lunch

2PM - 4PM:
Explore downtown

Explore the River Walk before heading back to Georgia

Anyone wishing to add a "leg" to this trip by visiting Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino is encouraged to do so once the day trip portion wraps up at 4:30PM. I believe the casino is about an hour from Murphy.

I'd be interested in discussing a possible overnight at or near the casino on Saturday night - not for everyone, but for anyone who's interested in doing so. :)

I am sure there will be some of you who will want to carpool, and why not?! At some point, I'll have someone assigned to coordinate carpool options.
