About us
Gainesville Nonviolent Communication is a community of folks seeking personal and collective transformation through the power of self-responsible, honest, and compassionate communication and listening. We aim to connect hearts across Gainesville using Nonviolent Communication (www.cnvc.org) and other tools.
It’s a language and set of tools for harmony where connection has been broken or lost, and for restoring a pathway to closeness, intimacy, and authentic expression with those around them.
We offer an introduction to the principles of nonviolent communication, as well as advanced skills and other nuanced topics. Practice consists of teaching exercises, discussion, and role plays. You are free to participate as much or as little as you would like.
Our trainers, Leif, Marina, Eze, and Kathleen offer workshops as well as coaching for individuals, couples and families. To get in touch, or find out more, visit www.gnvc.love

The Couples' Coaching Couch: Building a Culture of Collaboration & Care
·OnlineOnline
THE COUPLES’ COACHING COUCH
Just in time for Valentines Day, free group coaching for couples — get personalized support and learn from other real couples.WHY THE COUPLES’ COACHING COUCH?
So many couples struggle behind closed doors — to the point we start to wonder: Are we the only ones who can’t seem to get this right? The truth is, you’re not alone.
Even the most loving relationships can get caught in painful patterns: distance instead of closeness, frustration instead of understanding, silence or shouting instead of collaboration.
At the heart of it all is this question:
How do we communicate — especially when things are hard?
Do we talk in ways that bring us closer, or in ways that push us apart?YOU (TWO) ARE SO NOT ALONE
Many couples come to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) hoping for more connection — and leave with insight, but not always the tools to apply it in the heat of the moment with the person they love most.
You may have tried, and still found yourselves stuck — still feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or losing hope.If that’s you, you’re not broken. You just need a place to practice — with guidance and community.
