Welcome to Galway Wine Lovers – where it’s always wine o’clock! 🍷
Love wine? Not sure if it’s a Cab Sauv or a Cabinet from IKEA? You’re in the right place.
This group is for anyone who enjoys sipping, swirling, and socialising (no wine snobs allowed—unless you're funny). Whether you're a total beginner or a walking wine encyclopedia, we run fun, relaxed tastings at The Wine Buff Galway, and you’re invited.
What we do:
Drink wine (obviously)
Chat about wine (and everything else)
Meet lovely people who also think “just one glass” is a hilarious concept
Learn a bit along the way—without the boring bits
Expect themed tastings, occasional cheese cameos, surprise favourites, and probably a few terrible wine puns (we can’t help ourselves).

The Wine Buff Galway, 12 Eglinton Street, H91 F2D0, GALWAY, IEJoin us for a relaxed and creative afternoon where art meets wine in the heart of Galway. Guided by local artist Helen Fahey, you’ll create your own painting step-by-step—no experience needed, just come ready to enjoy the process.
Set in the cosy surroundings of The Wine Buff, this unique experience combines creativity with a curated wine tasting. As you paint, you’ll sip and savour three different wines, discovering new flavours while letting your artistic side flow.
Expect a welcoming, social atmosphere where you can unwind, meet new people, and leave with a finished artwork to be proud of. Whether you're coming solo, with friends, or on a date, it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon.
