About us
Game Audio Denmark is a national organization with members from all over Denmark focusing on audio for video games. We aim to create a community of learners, teachers, students and professionals to help spread their knowledge.
We organize meetups of various sorts, primarily the Game Audio Playthrough, which is a meetup for game audio enthusiasts. At the events we invite sound designers and composers to showcase the games they have been working on and if possible take a full playthrough of the games, inviting to an open discussion about sound design, audio implementation, and interactive composition.

Apparently time flies at the speed of sound, because this marks the 50th edition of our Game Audio Playthrough events, where we host talks with the best sound designers and composers in the industry. And this is no exception, because we are lucky to have the brilliant Mads Vadsholt in to talk about his work on the winner of “Best game of 2025” at Spilprisen.
Some of you may remember Mads from another well-acclaimed title “the Forest Quartet” which took the industry by storm some years ago. Now he’s back to talk about the magical sound design set in dark, prehistoric Scandinavian spirit realm.
Mads will play the game live from Unity and show his FMOD setup, presenting a technical runthrough of his work on the game and his philosophy on sound for games.We are looking forward to seeing you.
