Asylum Jam: Horror Games

  • Oct 31, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This month we'll be part of the Asylum Jam which is a jam about horror games. http://www.asylumjam.com/

Important: We only have 6 slots so please only sign up if you will really show up. There will be power and WiFi but not other amenities.

Jam time is friday from 7 PM to midnight. Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM. Sunday 10 am to 7 PM.

---

You have always wanted to make a game but never found the right people? You're already making games in your day job but they take years to complete? Why not try something new?

Munich Indie is a loose collective of people in Munich, Germany who like to create games. We organize semi-regular (read: a handfull every year) 24-hour game jams. What is a game jam, you ask? "A game jam is an organized get-together with the intention of creating a full game – from conception to completion – in a pre-determined, short period of time."

That means if you want to work with other enthusiasts (professional game developers, students and hobbyists alike) on making something innovative in a very short time, then feel free to join us for the next jam. You should have some applicable skills (programming, 2D/3D art, audio, game design, writing) but do not have to be a master in any of these.

Check out http://www.munichindie.com/ if you want to check out some examples of the games that we made in game jams over the last few years.

Are you sure about the date? On the asylum jam site it says october 11th - 13th but this jam here is set for october 31st - november 2nd now. Or will we simply use the horror theme and ignore the official asylum jam?

I think that the information on their web site is outdated - their last email said it's the 31st.

Attention: We only have 4 more participant slots for the jam. Please (re-)sign up if you are sure that you'll participate. I kicked everybody out since I had to change the date and everything.
