What we're about

Garland Pawsibilities (Garland Bark Park) was originally established in 2005 to garner public support for the building of an off lead enclosed dog park for the northeast Dallas County area.

Interest for a fenced park wained as the City would not committ land for a park right away..but instead of doing away with GBP, the volunteers wanted to continue working with the City Shelter to help get as many dogs and cats adopted as possible. In 2005 we started doing off-site adoptions twice a year with about a 95% success rate! since 2009 GBP has been holding off-site adoptions at least once a month.
