📍 London Community Builders — June Edition
💬 Theme: Let’s talk VENUES and SPACES
Hey everyone 👋 Really looking forward to getting us all together again for another evening of great chats, shared learnings and proper connection.
I want us to start giving each gathering a theme to spark ideas and guide the conversation - so for this one let's start with one of the trickiest parts of running events: finding great venues.
And as ever, the real magic comes from having a warm and welcoming room full of people who care about bringing others together in real life.
---
🧠 This month's topic: Venues and spaces
We’ll loosely focus on things like:
- How to actually find a decent space (esp. on a budget) - I'm working on something here I hope to be able to share with you!
- Ways to get managers on side
- Traits of a great (or terrible) host venue
- London gems you’ve used or loved
- How to build ongoing relationships with venue owners
🛠️ Of course, we’ll also make space for any recent wins or challenges you want to share outside this theme too
---
🍻 The Format:
- 6:30pm–7:00pm – Arrive, grab a drink, meet some lovely people
- 7:00pm–8:00pm – We’ll circle up for a lightly structured convo and venue story-swapping
- 8:00pm onward – Stick around and keep chatting - we'll have the space until the end of the evening
How to find us: We'll be in the Snug, a little private space in Mc and Sons Borough. It's just to the right of the front door as you walk in. If you have trouble finding us, ask at the bar for Amnon's booking

👀 Who’s this for?
This is a monthly gathering for people who run, host, or support real-life community:
- Meetup & IRL event organisers
- Brand-side marketers and community managers
- Independent builders and creators growing in-person audiences
- People who just really care about getting people together
---
🤝 Why I'm doing this
I run Gather, a service that helps brands build in-person communities. This group isn’t about clients or case studies though - it’s about building a peer circle. I want to connect with and learn from other brilliant London-based community builders. So let’s make this our monthly check-in, creative pit stop and venting session, all rolled into one 🫶
