A community space for Expat Women living in Denmark to help each other grow.
We gather monthly in Copenhagen to discuss relevant topics, have workshops, and connect and network. We encourage you to show up as you are; no need to perform or try to fit in. Just be you!
The monthly gatherings follow this format:
- Working with a specific topic (decided by the group in advance), through group discussions, exercises, and group and individual reflection. The monthly topic could be, for example:
- Career and professional development
- Social life
- Living in Denmark and integration
- Entrepreneurship & finance
- Personal growth & wellbeing
- A Gathering Circle where we can share what’s weighing on our heart and mind at the moment, without trying to fix each other. It is optional to share, you can always choose to just listen and be present.
- Socialising / networking for the last 15-30 minutes (optional).

AI is transforming jobs faster than careers were designed to handle. Some tasks will be automated. Some roles will change shape entirely. Other roles will slowly disappear.Most career conversations in this context start with "What job should I do next?", putting you at the mercy of whatever the market is offering.
## A more useful question is: which parts of your work make it feel meaningful and worth doing?
This interactive workshop, facilitated by researcher and PhD Alejandra Rojas, explores the intersection of meaningful work and AI, giving you practical tools to navigate your career.
Drawing on her research, Alejandra will guide us through:
🔍 What makes work meaningful and why it is important in the context of AI and career transitions.
⚙️ How AI is reshaping jobs and what we risk losing if we don't pay attention.
🧭 How to identify your own conditions for meaningful work, so you can carry them across roles, sectors, and career transitions.
This is a hands-on session. Expect post-its, conversations with the women next to you, and at least one question that stays with you for days to come.

About your facilitator:
Alejandra Rojas studies how AI and robotics are transforming work. She holds a PhD in Business Development and Technology from Aarhus University, with a focus on meaningful work, technology adoption, and organisational change.As jobs change, Alejandra helps people figure out what to protect and what to let go.
Alejandra is skilled at sharing knowledge, communicating ideas, and translating research into practical insights for leaders, professionals, and anyone navigating what work is becoming in the AI era.
Alejandra's research has been published in Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Scandinavian Journal of Management, and Open Research Europe, among others.
