Gather to Draw Under Night Skies is a relaxed space for anyone who enjoys sketching and wants to spend more time practicing in the evening air. We meet up at various spots around the city once the sun goes down to capture the play of artificial light, shadows, and the quiet atmosphere of the streets after dark. Whether you are a dedicated artist or just someone who likes to carry a sketchbook to unwind, you are welcome to join us.
There is no formal instruction or pressure to produce a masterpiece; this is simply about getting out of the house and drawing alongside other people who appreciate the nocturnal side of things. We usually pick a spot with some decent ambient light, find a comfortable place to sit, and spend a couple of hours working on our own projects. If you have been looking for a reason to get your sketchbook out more often or just want to meet a few fellow drawing enthusiasts, we would love to have you come by.
