Gathered Around The Glowing Glass Furnace

Gathered Around The Glowing Glass Furnace is a space for glassblowers of all skill levels to connect, share experiences, and support one another in this challenging craft. Whether you are a student just starting to learn the gather or a seasoned artist spending your days in the hot shop, we know that glassblowing can be physically demanding and sometimes isolating. This group is about building a community where we can talk about our projects, troubleshoot technical issues, or just vent about the frustrations that come with working with molten glass.

We meet regularly to swap stories, discuss studio practices, and offer encouragement to each other as we hone our skills. We aren't a formal workshop or a production studio; we are simply a group of people who share a deep respect for the medium and want to make sure no one is facing the furnace alone. If you are looking for fellow makers to talk shop with and want to be part of a supportive circle of artists, we would love to have you join us at our next gathering.
