2024 HOLIDAY PARTY at Jono's in Los Feliz

Hello everyone, happy holidays 2024. Gay Winos has not disappeared, but Jono it's organizer for over 15 years (since it began on Yahoo Groups before moving to Meetup) has been busy with his regular career as a professional, freelance tour guide and, in addition, also serving as the president of a tour guide association which consumed a fair amount of his time.

Even though it is short notice, to celebrate the end of this interesting year, your fearless leader will be hosting a party at his own Los Feliz home on Friday evening December 27 from 6-10pm. As usual, I will provide some starter party food, but hoping many of you can both contribute about $10 in cash to defer the cost of party supplies PLUS bring an entree, side dish, salad or dessert that does NOT require any type of preparation (no oven, stove or microwave). It's also great if you can bring a disposable serving dish and, of course, wine or other beverage to share.

This is the important thing--this party is starting at a slightly earlier time because street parking in this Los Feliz neighborhood on a Friday night can start disappearing by 7pm. (If necessary, you can park on the edge of the driveway to drop off whatever you're bringing for a few short moments, but no guest parking is allowed in the driveway) . If you run into difficulty, you can alternatively park at the ground level parking of Barnsdall Park on the south side of Hollywood Blvd. near the traffic light then walk over. The only thing is the park's parking lot closes at 10pm and if you forget you might end up with your car being locked in overnight.
