Our lead organiser, Ade, will usually be hosting the Karaoke on the night, plus other members of the team will be on-hand and running a full social mixer event.
Expect a fun party atmosphere, plus free nibbles and party apparel. There are over 80,000 karaoke songs to choose from, but rest assured that nobody will be under any pressure to get up and sing. Karaoke does start at 8pm though, which runs through to 11.30pm.
Rest assured you will be with other friendly gay guys, plus other LGBT+ people, in an attitude-free and clique-free group. We also have loads of newbies in addition to many regulars, so you will not be alone if this is your first time.
JOIN US...
- ...ON YOUR OWN: Don't be worried about coming along on your own. You won't be left feeling like billy-no-mates! You'll meet other guys who, like you, found the courage to come along unaccompanied and join in the fun. We also have a really great bunch of regular attendees, who are friendly and will be really happy to meet you.
- ...WITH A MATE OR TWO: Grab a mate or two and bring them along for a great evening out. This can be useful if you are just a bit too shy or hesitant to attend on your own, or you and your friends are up for a karaoke adventure!
IF YOU ARE NEW... you are very welcome! It is advisable for newbies to arrive earlier, so that you already feel part of the event as it grows in numbers. Please make sure to approach an organiser, who will be wearing a glow-stick, so we can help with introductions. There are usually plenty of new people, so you will not be the only one and won't be left on your own!
