The Summer of Virtual Reality - Come and build VR skills or share your VR skills. We're having an all-day hands on VR Code Lab at Google for software developers.

Google, Samsung, HTC and Facebook all have VR products and big plans with staffed development teams in anticipation of broad applications of virtual reality technology.

We have two code labs and two talented instructors.

Morning - Google Cardboard Code Lab (https://www.google.com/get/cardboard/)

Instructor: Jono Forbes
Jono is a lifelong game developer, designer, and teacher, focused on VR. After working as a programmer and 3D artist, he founded Defective Studios, where he's currently leading development on VRMT, a VR worldbuilding app where users create environments within VR, available on the Rift, Cardboard, Gear VR, Vive, and Tango. Jono has also been designing and teaching summer and online classes in game development with Unity and 3D animation with Maya for about 10 years. When he's AFK, he's probably playing guitar or piano, snowboarding, or reading sci-fi.

Afternoon Samsung Gear VR Code Lab (https://www.google.com/get/cardboard/)
