HTML5 Hands-On - Chump to Champ - Part 1

To break the summer silence let's have a HTML5 Hands-On Meetup and build some cool Apps!

Yes, this is a course to chomp it up. It is for everyone - from absolute non-developers to hardcore programmers - who always wished to conquer this powerful new technology. We will start at the very basics and go all the way to the advanced features.

This is Part 1 and will cover -

• What is HTML5
• Basics
• Head tags
• Semantic tags
• The new Form Elements
• Local storage
• Geo-location

This is a hands-on course, so get your laptops (and chargers).

Minimum requirements:

• Laptop
• A code editor like Vim(Linux), Xcode(Mac) or Notepad++(Windows)
• Webkit browser like Chrome or Safari

Part 2 (TBD) will cover more advanced features like drag-drop, audio-video, canvas, mobile apps, etc.
