The "ItsHackademic" DevFest is a world-wide series of Google-sponsored events focused on creating awareness and development experience with Polymer & Web Components - the future of mobile-friendly, responsive, composable web applications.
GDG Hudson Valley is one of just two Google Developer Group (GDG) chapters in New York, and will be among the earliest to run this DevFest. Its a unique opportunity to learn about a technology (tech talk) and immediately get hands-on experience with developing for it (code labs).
Come learn to build front-end web applications with Polymer, and learn about using Google Cloud platform for the back-end!!
We also have a special device demo of the YotaPhone -- a unique dual-display always-on Android-powered phone. And, we may have other hardware devices to play with as well (including Android Wear, Google Glass, Android TV, ..)
