Learn how to build Actions for the Google Assistant that are useful for your community - whether it's a professional network, interest group, or your hometown. We can interact with the google assistant for many reasons; to google search via voice, play music, execute commands, run different apps created by other developers and they can also be integrated with other platforms and devices...and build your own apps!

Codelabs link for tonight: http://bit.ly/aogdevs

The Twitter Raffle codelab was created by Francesco Pontillo who will be there tonight to help you out!

----
1) What is this event about?
Part of a global event series that is supported by Google Developers and the Assistant Team. This is the second event of a series, the first one was on the 16th of June.

------
2) Facilitators: Francesco Pontillo (@frapontillo) & Amanda Cavallaro (@chibichibibr)

Amanda is a software developer, passionate about Cloud technologies, Human-Computer Interactions and Chatbots. During the day she works at resolver.co.uk, when the sun goes down she wears her cape of Google Developer Expert for Google Assistant and is a Women Techmakers Lead and Community Organiser at GDG Cloud London. You can speak to her in Portuguese, English, Italian and a little of Japanese. You can find more info about her on her website: amanda.ml.

Francesco is a software engineer currently trying to push the limits of what can be achieved with Android and all kinds of technologies at Novoda, in their London offices.

In love with Android since Eclair times, he enjoys coding in Javascript and developing server-less architectures in his spare time.

Once upon a time he used to be a C# developer in Italy, but he's now enjoying the best that Kotlin has to offer.

Still, he constantly is in a complicated relationship with Gradle.

Some say he's a hipster (lie) who enjoys wearing shirts (truth!), others say he's "absolutely honest" about everything, so reach out to him if you need a direct answer about anything Assistant-related.
