Title: Deep Memory and Self-Correction: The Future of RAG with MongoDB, LangGraph and Generative AI
Abstract: The implementation of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems has become the standard for interactions with corporate data, but traditional architectures struggle with the processing of large files and suffer from response degradation due to the retrieval of irrelevant context. This presentation proposes a next-generation architecture that addresses these bottlenecks.
The solution integrates MongoDB GridFS as a Cold Storage layer to manage heavy binaries without BSON limitations, paired with MongoDB Atlas Local for low-latency vector search. Instead of a linear flow, the system uses LangGraph to orchestrate a Self-RAG workflow powered by the newly released Google Gemini 3 Flash model.
In this approach, the model acts with ultra-fast inference as a continuous evaluator: the graph analyses document relevance, discards noise, and autonomously rewrites the question if the context fails. The result is a highly scalable system, immune to hallucinations caused by weak context and fully auditable, allowing the download of original documents reconstructed in real time from GridFS.
About the author: A product-oriented full stack developer passionate about building practical, high-impact solutions with cutting-edge technologies. Currently focused on AI and autonomous agents, they design and develop agentic systems capable of reasoning, planning, and tool integration.
With deep expertise in end-to-end RAG pipelines, vector databases, and advanced retrieval strategies, they build scalable AI applications that bridge LLMs with real-world business workflows. Their experience spans agent orchestration with LangGraph, workflow automation using LangChain and n8n, and custom tool/API development for intelligent systems.
Technically versatile across frontend (React, Next.js, Vue), backend (Python, Node.js, Go), and cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP), they bring a strong product mindset to AI engineering — combining experimentation, performance, and real-world usability.
