CSEdWeek is an annual call to action to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity in computer science education, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.
This CSEdWeek, explores the theme "Impacts of Computing," delving into the positive and negative effects of computer science on education, privacy, security, and accessibility. Beyond programming, this initiative aims to broaden students' understanding of computer science's ethical, social, economic, and environmental implications. We acknowledge the contributions of those who have harnessed the positive aspects of computer science, fostering classroom discussions on the intended and unintended impacts, and encouraging critical debate.
