Advanced HTML & CSS - October 10th & 11th

This is a two-day class.

• Day One: 9:00 to 3:30

• Day Two: 10:00 to 2:00

Day One will be a combination of learning and practice, and Day Two will be primarily lab time to help students with what they have learned in class. Day Two is optional, but you don't want to miss it!

This class is where everything comes together in our HTML/CSS series. You will learn how to make your website responsive with the very popular Bootstrap Framework. In addition, you will learn how to embed videos and other types of content in your websites and make a rock solid website form. Also enjoy a second day of class just to work on your project with the assistance of our TA's and Instructor!

INSTRUCTOR

We are honored to have Tessa Kriesel, a front-end developer at Windmill Design in NE Minneapolis, teach our class. She has a degree in web development and has 10 years of experience.

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE

Intro to HTML & CSS and Intermediate HTML & CSS offered by GDI Minneapolis

OR

Working knowledge of HTML and CSS and how the two work together. Exposure to concepts like classes, the box-model, and making your websites responsive. Contact Susan at susan@girldevelopit.com if you aren't sure if you have the pre-requisites for this class.

Firefox or Chrome

FileZilla or other FTP client
