• What is Salesforce and what are the career opportunities for Salesforce Admins and Developers?
• App-building concepts including data modeling, user interfaces, business logic, reports, dashboards, and mobile.
• Hands-on and guided project building to build a sample app in one day.

INSTRUCTOR
We are honored to have Kim Katzenmeyer, a Salesforce Solution Architect at Slalom, teach this class.
Kim is an innovative and driven relationship builder with expertise in Salesforce implementation, business development and customer service management. Her areas of expertise in Salesforce are Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities Platform APP Development and Pardot. She is 12x times Salesforce certified.
Kim is highly skilled in functional development of Salesforce, effectively collaborating with clients, end users, executive leadership and key stakeholders to address both strategic and tactical initiatives. Extensive track record identifying problems, developing action plans, and implementing solutions.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communication from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis MN.
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE
Students should be fairly familiar with using web and mobile applications and Googling for answers to all of life’s questions. You do not need any prior Salesforce experience.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Laptop & Charger (there will be Wi-Fi and power strips available)
• Don't own a laptop? No problem! GDI has a few extra laptops on hand, just e-mail Amy at amyg@girldevelopit.com to request one for this class.

PARKING
Parking in the IDS ramp is $6. There will also be someone meeting students on the main floor to bring you up to the room on the 39th floor.

LUNCH / MEALS
Slalom will be sponsoring a meal during our class. If you have other dietary restrictions such as gluten free, dairy free, vegan, etc., please be sure to bring your own lunch. We will notify attendees a day or two before the class on whether a meal will be provided.
FINANCIAL NEED
