Live music- acoustic afternoon

This is our monthly trip out to see a local band play live songs in a pub or entertainment venue. We simply walk in, grab a drink, mingle for a bit and enjoy the show- there is no cost or booking required although some places may ask that we buy at least one drink there.

This month we are seeing a chilled acoustic band at HMV empire and we may switch up the venue every few months to get more variety in the music played. We tend to get a lot of alternative rock which has fairly wide appeal but we will try to cover as many genres as possible. If you have any suggestions on future artists or venues to try out then feel free to share them.

The show starts at 2pm but some of us will be there from 1.30 so we can socialise a bit beforehand- though this isn’t essential. On that note- you may arrive and leave at whatever times work best for you.

Not much else to it really; just come join us for some smooth vibes and rocking out if that’s your thing. See you there!
