Retro arcade and console games (Birmingham)

Do you yearn for the good old days of arcades and other classic means of gaming? Or perhaps you’re envious of those who have such nostalgia? (I’m definitely the latter lol). Well Birmingham have blessed us with a vibrant and colourful arcade bar known as NQ64- located in the Digbeth portion of the city, and we’re taking a trip down there!

It goes like this- book online (link is below) to get yourself a bunch of play tokens to use on the arcade games- you get 26 of them for £13 and most of the games take one or two for a single run (you can always use more for a continue upon a game over) And the games themselves? Prepare for an all star lineup comprised of street fighter, mortal kombat, simpsions arcade, tmnt arcade, crazy taxi, pinball and several others. It really is a blast through the past!

And that’s not all, because there is also a selection of free to use retro game consoles including the ps1,ps2, original Xbox, Super Nintendo and sega genesis- and all come with their own unique selection of games for both solo gamers and groups of friends alike to enjoy. Not to mention there is always the bar where you can drink and chill, so even if you’re a bit limited money wise, you can still have a good time here.
