Dayton .NET Developers Group: Modern .NET Tooling in VS Code

Visual Studio Code has provided good support for .NET/C# from the beginning. The OmniSharp language server gave us refactoring, code navigation, intellisense, formatting, and linting. More recently, though, Microsoft released the "C# Dev Kit" extension. It continues to provide the features of the OmniSharp language server, but also provides a more Visual Studio-like experience, with project and solution management, a native testing environment, and AI-assisted development.

Join us as we discuss existing OmniSharp features, and walk through the new solution, project, testing, and AI-enhanced intellisense features.
