About us

We are Gen X! We prefer being outdoors, constructed tree forts, built bike ramps, rode in beds of pickup trucks and drank from the garden hose. We were born between the years 1965-1980. Our parents did not bubble wrap us and we learned through real life experiences. This group is devoted to celebrating the greatest Generation we are Gen X.

This will be a co meet with RVA Transplants Group and We Cycle Rock and Stroll RVA

Starting event at 900 am. We will meet in the large center parking lots

photo has exact location. We will walk to the White trail then connect to the Orange and blue trail. Stopping occasional for viewing wildlife
and other photo worthy views. Starting event early due to potential heat. Please bring water snack and weather appropriate gear. Trails are paved, gravel and dirt some gentle inclines. Event is at your own risk. C you there!

Walk Crump park lunch at Con Salsa

This will again be a co meet with my other 2 groups. This is a walking event at Crump park in Glen Allen VA and an optional lunch at Con Salsa located a short distance from the Park. We will meet in the big center parking lot near the animal farm. Posting photo of location of parking lot.

Starting at 900 am to beat the heat of the day. Will walk the perimeter trail for a total of 1.8 miles 2x. Will try to vary it a bit or walk it in reverse. Also beginning with a quick visit to the animals first. The trail
is made of dirt gravel with a few gentle inclines and declines roots and pine needles. Bring bug spray sunblock and plenty of fluids. Event is at your own risk.

Robious Landing Park Trail Loop and Robious Landing Short Loop x2 3.4 miles

Lets do a Walk Along the River. We will meet in the main parking lot near shelter 2 toward the boat slide...We will Proceed on the Robious Park loop 1.6 miles which follows along the river with amazing river views.. We will then arrive where we started and walk the Robious Landing short loop 2 x .9 for 1.8 miles total. Bring water snack and weather appropriate gear and footwear....As all my events it is at your own risk....Look for a black Audi Q5 SUV ....Hope to see you there...
