Live Jazz at The Green Mill Lounge

Update: We have 35 people signed up, so I can only hold one table if I get there early, so it will probably be standing room only. They don't take reservations/tickets so we will just have to pay at the door and hope there is space (I would recommend coming a bit early if you for sure want to go.) Just wanted to let everyone know so you can make plans accordingly! Will be a fun time!

Let's go see some swingin' jazz in a cool atmosphere! If you're not familiar, this lounge has been around FOREVER--it was one of Al Capone's favorite hangouts! Even better, it LOOKS the part-- all red, dark, velvet curtains and round velvet booths, etc. People actually dance on the dance floor, just like you see in movies about the Rat Pack, etc. They have jazz basically evey night of the week, and that night a band called Mama Digdown's Brass Band is playing (I mean, with a name like that...lol) Show starts at 8pm

Things to note: They do not take reservations. I will get there early to see if I can hold us a spot but we may end up having to do standing room for a while.

They also do not take cards (what?! I know), so BRING CASH or stop at an ATM on the way.

This should be a fun time, I can't wait to meet new people and hear some music--we can pretend like we are in the 1920s!
