Indian Joe, Cave Rocks, High Valley, and Flag Hill Loop Hike (Moderate 4 miles)

Join us for our second hike at for the Indian Joe, Cave Rocks, High Valley, and Flag Hill Loop Hike at the Sunol Wilderness Regional Preserve. This moderate hike (about ~4 miles) will take us along a mix of shaded trails and open ridgelines, passing rocky outcrops at Cave Rocks and rolling through High Valley before climbing up toward Flag Hill for some of the best panoramic views in the park.

Parking: Sunol Visitor Center
Please arrive 5 minutes before 11 AM. We will start the hike shortly after 11:00 AM. If you are going to be late, please message early because we'll likely not have service at the trail. We'll do our best to hike as a group, but I'd recommend downloading an offline map of the area on Google Maps or the trail on All Trails on your phone just in case you happen to get separated.
Also there is a parking fee of $5 at the Sunol Visitor Center, so please be prepared to pay that before departing for the trailhead.
