About us
“Geneva FinTech Community”? Yes that’s right! To emphasize more our “by the community, for the community” philosophy, we rebranded from “Startup Weekend FinTech Geneva” to stay independent from corporate or association references. We’ve always been that way at the core and wish to stay so, independent and pro-bono.
What we do
At Geneva FinTech Community, we are changing the way entrepreneurs, corporates and consultants are interacting in Geneva in the field of financial services. New and more diverse connections for you lead to more numerous and meaningful opportunities, whether in the FinTech startup space or within/servicing established companies. This community was born and breathes thanks to you, especially early joiners / #SWFinTechGVA participants… and needs you to continue!
Track record since 2016
• Growing community of over 2’100 fintechers
• 4 startup weekends organized in FinTech with one focusing on Impact and the another on Blockchain
• 2 Sustainable Finance Hackathons supporting OpenGeneva through our own organizers and community
• 40+ events organized / supported: networking after-works / breakfasts / lunches, fire-side chats...
