Discussion 22 - The Planets and Planetary Magick

I am happy to introduce our 22nd session focusing titled: The Planets and Planetary Magick. As of now, our new meeting place will be in the Crowned Eagle Pub in Paquis (see address for full location). However, the same warm atmosphere and vibrant community still remains to welcome you to the event and I hope you can attend! The meeting will take place on July 2 at 18:30 - 20:30.

Introduction to the topic - Following our last discussion on the elements, this time around we will focus on the planets within the Occult. Just like the elements, the planets form an important backbone to many occult and spiritual traditions across our history. Initially starting from 7, but expanding to include more planets as they were discovered in our solar system, the planets have come to represent different important concepts inside of our reality. For example, Venus represents love and fertility, Mars represents war and martial prowess, and Jupiter represents expansion and riches. Each planet governs its own domain or "sphere" of reality and each planet has also been associated variously to different deities and spirits throughout history. And finally, each planet also provides its own form of magick ritual and even spiritual practice to us.

In this session, we will focus on the planets and many things tied to them. From planetary magick and mythological lore to astrology, we will explore, weave, and draw a unified picture of what these celestials bodies represent in our spiritual consciousness. The sky is the limit.

2. Intro to the topic (15 minutes)
3. Questions and discussion on the topic (65 minutes)
4. Closing and goodbyes (20 minutes)
