Round Trip Hiking Distance: about 2 miles
Round Trip Hiking Time: probably less than 2 hours
Elevations: approximately 7550' to 7450'
Gain: very slight as we walk along creek
Rating: maintained forest trail.
Pace: Mellow
There may be an easy stream crossing and there may be a muddy spot or two, but certainly not difficult.

What to bring:
Sturdy hiking boots or shoes.
Bring layers, extra clothing, and water resistant outer wear.
Water for a 2+ hour hike, (a liter +).
Lunch or snacks (in case we/you get hungry or stuck, etc.)
Dogs: There is often a bit of traffic on this trail. Dogs may complicate it.

2. If you live closer to the TH, by all means go to it, w/o carpool, BUT, as usual, Let the organizer/host know !!, otherwise we'll ALL be waiting for those who will never show. :-( At the TH, from SFe, parking is on the right, side Hyde Park Road. (Parking is beyond 10k Waves, below Nun's Curve, at the near the Burn Trail area.)

Also adjust your time to arrive at TH given that car-poolers will be arriving 10 minutes after Start time (driving time).
NOTE that we have to limit a wait time to about 5 minutes at the carpool place.
