--> Moderate hike in Black Canyon, at the US Nat'l Forest CG, just before Hyde State park along Hyde Park Road.
The elevation change is about 480Ft. The path is a "lollipop" type (an initial out-and-back portion, then a loop), and mostly forested.
And the distance will be about 2 miles. with a walk up to a saddle where there are some pretty nice views of the surrounding hills, and a nice place to stop and reflect.

What to bring:
Sturdy hiking boots or shoes.
Bring layers, extra clothing, and water resistant outer wear.
Water for a 2+ hour hike, (a liter +).
Lunch or snacks (in case we/you get hungry or stuck, etc.)

2. If you live closer to the TH, by all means go to it, w/o carpool, BUT Let Us, the organizer/host know !!, otherwise we'll ALL be waiting for those who will never show. :-( Parking is on the right side of Hyde Park Road, in the visitors parking lot.)
Also adjust your time to arrive at TH given that we will be arriving 15+- minutes after Start time (driving time).
NOTE that we have to limit a wait time to about 5 minutes at the carpool place.
