Details

With the trend from a unipolar toward a multipolar world in recent years--and given the public acknowledgement of such by US Sec. of State Rubio--the world has "officially" transitioned to multipolar. How will the former unipole, the United States, behave in the new world order? And what will be the dynamics between the US and the other great powers—China and Russia—and the rest of the world? Join us for a discussion of great-power politics in this new world order.

This is a joint event with the College of Complexes, a weekly free speech forum on social issues and current affairs. At this event, the keynote presentation is Great Power Politics and the Multipolar World in 2025 and Beyond by Eric Mao.

The presentation will be followed by questions from the audience, and then a rebuttal/remarks period in which all in attendance can have a chance to speak for 5 minutes at the podium.
